As Bor Şeker A.Ş., our primary goal is to take all necessary measures and implement practices to create a work environment where all our employees are physically and mentally healthy and safe.
In this context, we commit to:
- Conducting activities aimed at eliminating hazards and reducing all risks,
- Taking all necessary precautions in accordance with current OHS legislation and other legal obligations to ensure the health and safety of employees, subcontractors, and visitors at our company’s premises and facilities; providing appropriate tools, equipment, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and ensuring their use when necessary,
- Identifying and eliminating unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, and potential accident risks that may lead to occupational accidents and diseases by performing effective risk assessments with input from employees,
- Detecting risks that may cause occupational accidents and diseases and ensuring the health, safety, and social well-being of all employees, subcontractors, and visitors at every level; aiming to reduce potential future material and moral losses for them and their families,
- Educating our employees in the field of occupational health and safety and ensuring they develop strong awareness and understanding,
- Ensuring that subcontractors and visitors also comply with the occupational health and safety rules established by our company,
- Adopting the general principles of the ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System,
- Continuously improving and developing our processes with a proactive approach to occupational health and safety.
